The Mission of the Channel Islands Gulls is to raise money for Ventura County
non-profit organizations.

Creating a Stronger Community, Together

Since 1976, the Channel Islands Gulls have been dedicated to supporting our community. From our earliest days, we've donated over $1 million locally, and in just the past four years, we've contributed more than $200,000 to deserving charities. But we do more than just donate funds. We open our closets, our food pantries, and our hearts. Giving our time and energy to the causes that mean the most to us.

A Legacy of Philanthropy and Fun

Founded by three inspiring women

Mary Beth Dursham, Florence Haney, and Wanda Pirkle

The Channel Islands Gulls began with a simple idea: do good for Ventura County while enjoying each other’s company. Today, we continue this tradition as a tight-knit social organization, raising funds through monthly luncheons and year-round FUNdraising events.
